ADELAIDE RAILWAY STATION FAÇADE
Project Details:
Renewal SA, in collaboration with SKS Technologies and Lightlogix, oversaw a comprehensive revitalisation initiative for the Adelaide Railway Station Concourse and Facade. As part of this transformation, Lightlogix was entrusted with the commissioning of new architectural lighting. This initiative aimed to augment the station’s night-time presence, strategically illuminating both its internal and external facets.
Lightlogix, in collaboration with industry leaders Philips Lighting and Pharos Control Systems, developed the sophisticated illumination strategy for the revitalisation of the Adelaide Railway Station. Employing state-of-the-art technology, the project involved the meticulous control of a vast lighting network, encompassing over 1000 fixtures and managing more than 3000 DMX channels.
The selected lighting fixtures, including the prestigious Philips UNI Strip G4, UNI Point, and UNI Edge, were strategically implemented to accentuate the station’s architectural nuances. This deliberate choice reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled quality and precision, ensuring that the lighting not only serves a functional purpose but also elevates the station to a new level of sophistication.
The integration of Philips Dynalite Controls System and Pharos Control hardware played a pivotal role in orchestrating this intricate lighting setup, overseeing 11 universes of DMX and over 100 channels of Relay and Dali control. This level of control empowers nuanced adjustments, creating a dynamic interplay of light to showcase the station’s commanding dimensions and striking geometric details.
